every 1:00 pm, we have this 15 minute short meeting. a person is tasked to have a speech about just anything. everyone will have a chance to speak. the not-good part is that aots trainees are also required to take part in this activity.

today, is my lucky day. its my turn to speak, IN nihongo!

our sensei told me to prepare a speech last wednesday. she also said that i write it down, In Nihongo (Kanji) as much as possible. if in case i could not help it, i write it in english and she will translate.

yesterday, i did finish the speech, with some english parts. our sensei corrected and translated some of the parts of the speech.

and yes, today is the day… i was sooo nervous, i mean who wouldn’t be?
but thankfully, i WAS able to deliver my speech (i was reading it actually)… nevertheless, i was able to do it and im proud of myself. im not sure though if they understood me. hahahaha

so here was my speech:

先週　の　週末、　上野　動物園　で　　あそびました。
あの　とき　は　はじめて　大きな　動物園　へ　いきました　から、楽しかった　です。
たくさん　の　しゅるい　の　動物　が　いた　ので、　５時間　で　全部　の　ばしょ　を　見る　には　時間　が　たりませんでした。
上野　公園　は　まだ　みて　いない　ので　いつか　また　行きたい　です。

私　は　日本　には　公園　が　たくさん　ある　と　きずきました。
公園　が　きれいだし　たくさん　木　が　あるし、日本　は　すごい　と　思って　います。
Philippine　は　公園　が　少しかない　です。
Cebu　は　公園　が　二つ　しかない　し　動物園　も　ない　し、つまらない　よう　です　ね。
それでも　Cebu　は　たくさん　海岸　が　ある　ので、おもしろい　です。

translation:
Last weekend, I went to Uneo zoo.
I enjoyed much because that was my first time to go to a big zoo.
5 hours was not enough to see the whole place as there were many kinds of animals.
I have not seen the Ueno Park yet so I want to go there again.

I noticed that in Japan, there are lots of parks.
I am so amazed with Japan because the parks are clean, and there are really lots of trees.
In the Philippines, there are just a number of parks.
In fact in Cebu, there are only 2 parks I know of, and there are no zoos either.
Evenso, Cebu is an interesting place because we have lots of beautiful beaches.
