quite a popular song with quite a number of covers i believe.

when we receive a request for this song in our gigs, we don’t sing this unless we run out of songs that we love to sing.  i dunnno, the beat is kind of boring.  ok ok, i don’t like songs that are overplayed and over sung by almost everyone.  who doesn’t know the song anyway.

another reason i didn’t like the song is that it was gibberish for me.  the lines don’t seem to have any sense.  it was just lucky it had a catchy melody people could easily sing to.

and seriously, i don’t have this song in my pc. bias, i know.

then just a while ago, the song popped up my head.  i searched for the lyrics.

and when i did,  it surprised me how i fully understood what it wanted to say.
